A while back I built a 1/1700 USS Stargazer model. It was my first Star Trek paper model. I don't recall a ton about the build process. I do recall that the varoius internal support beams wanted to warp on me. I think I have become better at that type of element construction over the months... but warped square beams make scifi models look... broken/bad. I love the stargazer, but I'm not super happy with what I constructed.
