So my first non-frivolous attempt at a paper model was the Russian Airship "Giant".  For some reason I was mentally stuck on airships at the time.  *shrug*  I can't tell you why at this point.  I built this model in the spring of 2009.

Overall it seemed to go together pretty well.  I had little clue what I was doing but forged ahead anyway.  I printed it on my old inkjet and sealed it with some Krylon clear.  The shape of the envelope seemed to go together well and looked good.  The gondola area was a bit rougher.  I don't know if it is the model or if it was me (I think it was me).  But the gondola/cabin areas just didn't seem to want to fit.
